Today was predicted to be the windiest of the week and the forecast wasn't wrong. I got down to the beach at 10.30am and unlike Steve and Rod I decided to go straight out on the 4.0. Correct choice - MAXED!!! But "comfortable", and the first hour was great fun, even though the wave quality wasn't optimal due to the lack of groundswell. The wind kept on increasing and soon conditions were horrible - a big overpowered chopfest. So I took a break and pulled out the camera and right on cue the wind dropped a tad and the waves improved allowing a few nice shots.

The evening session was just as windy as the morning if not more. Consequently I obtained limited enjoyment from it although I did score some big big waves and jumps. And more kit carnage. A mast extension has now joined the pile of broken spars. Cock.
